Redeye Reveals Significant International Growth As Celebrates 30th Year
Redeye’s international physical and digital revenues up 50% since Exceleration acquisition in 2023
Redeye and Exceleration’s YouTube revenues grew 23% in 2025, with a further 18% expected in 2026
Redeye Worldwide, the physical and digital distribution arm of Exceleration Music Group, has reported significant international gains as it marks 30 years in business.
Founded in 1996, Redeye has spent three decades building an independent, service-led alternative for labels seeking a long-term solution for physical and digital distribution under one roof. Its model combines global reach with local expertise, supporting a selective roster to deliver sustainable growth without compromising bespoke service or attention to detail.
Since being acquired by Exceleration Music in 2023, Redeye’s physical and digital revenues outside the US have grown by 50%. This momentum has been generated from its five international hubs in London, Berlin, Gothenburg, Sydney and Montreal – all extensions of Redeye’s long established US-headquartered business, which physically distributes Beggars Group, Domino, Ninja Tune, Warp, Stones Throw and more.
In the UK, Redeye’s revenues have doubled since 2023, following investment in staff and infrastructure across its local operations. This included partnering with Lasgo to handle UK physical music fulfilment in 2024 and relocating Jill Wheeler from New York to London as International Business & Label Development Manager in 2025.
This activity has helped Redeye secure worldwide deals with UK labels including Killer Candy Records (2026) and untitled (recs) (2025). Redeye has also helped deliver significant chart success for Cooking Vinyl, including four UK Top 5 albums over the past 18 months: Blue’s Reflections (No. 2), Callum Beattie’s INDI (No. 4), James Morrison’s Fight Another Day (No. 5) and Embrace’s Avalanche (No. 5).
Redeye has similarly expanded its capabilities across the DACH region, partnering with Bertus in 2024 to handle physical music fulfilment across multiple European territories. The wider network has strengthened support for Redeye’s Germany-based roster, which includes !K7, City Slang, Grönland Records, Bronzerat Records, Duchess Box Records, Analog Africa and Denovali.
In the Nordics, Redeye acquired Swedish distributor Border Music in 2019, growing its footprint across the region. The operation now represents more than 400 local labels, including Subliminal Sounds, Superpuma Records, Karisma, Apollon, Welfare, Busy Bee, Curation Records, Nordvis and Dragon Records. Redeye regularly secures Top 10 positions on local charts, achieving No. 1 debuts on Sweden’s Physical and Vinyl charts for Darkthrone’s Pre-Historic Metal and Hällas’ Panorama in 2026.
In Australia, Redeye signed Third Eye Stimuli in 2025, taking its APAC-based roster to 15 labels, including Wing Sing Records and Barely Dressed.
Redeye has combined physical and digital expertise for much of its history. An early digital adopter, it began selling downloads via Yep Roc Records in 2006, ahead of many competitors. Today, Redeye handles worldwide digital distribution for countless established labels including Daptone Records, notably supporting UK-based soul breakthrough Jalen Ngonda, whose June 2026 album, Doctrine Of Love, generated 1.8 million streams in its first week.
Joining Exceleration has brought further digital expertise to Redeye, particularly on YouTube. The companies’ combined network has more than doubled to 113 channels and added 280,000 subscribers in 18 months, while YouTube revenues grew 23% in 2025 and are on track to rise a further 18% in 2026.
Glenn Dicker and Tor Hansen, Co-founders at Redeye, said: “Having a strong global footprint has continued to be a goal for us. We've continued to listen to our label partners to better understand their business needs and have worked hard to grow in that direction. Working with some of the best indie labels out there has been a real honor and we are excited to expand our level of service on a worldwide basis”.
Amy Dietz, Partner at Exceleration Music, added: “Reaching 30 years is an incredible milestone and testament to the business Glenn, Tor and the Redeye team have built. Since Redeye joined Exceleration, our role has been to build on those foundations, providing additional resources and expertise to accelerate their ambitions while preserving the independence, culture and personal service that made Redeye successful in the first place. The international growth we’re seeing today shows the strength of that partnership, and we’re excited about what comes next.”
