Name PR, one of the UK’s leading specialist music business PR agencies, are seeking a tech-savvy Senior Account Executive or Account Manager to work with our growing roster of technology clients, which include cloud services, a think tank, app developers and a global licensing agency.

Dependent on your experience and achievements, the role may be offered at either Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level.

You will ideally have substantial PR experience, gained in two posts (or possibly significant experience in one), some of which will have been spent in the music or new media/technology sectors. You should have clearly demonstrable interest in the tech side of the music business. Experience working with trade and business press is highly desirable, as is hands-on experience with social media.

You should be energetic, flexible, reliable and easy-going, and take pride in your attention to detail. You should be a meticulous writer with a proven record of producing engaging and intelligent copy, on message and on deadline. (You will be asked to show examples, and quality of writing will be a major deciding factor in awarding the position.)

The job will involve writing press releases and web copy, liaising with journalists, social media work and advising clients on communications strategy. You must be well-organised and capable of managing your workload without supervision.

As our account portfolio expands the role may involve line management of junior account handling staff. Willingness to do this is highly desirable.

Above all, you will show that you are eager and ready to grow and manage a burgeoning division of a rapidly evolving business.
